Statement: GAIN Applauds Supreme Court Decision to Let Lower Court Ruling Stand on Pipeline Challenge
Earlier today, the Supreme Court let stand a decision by the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court relating to eminent domain.

“Today’s ruling is a win for regulatory certainty and for companies and individuals seeking to invest in our nation’s infrastructure. Anti-energy zealots are filling up courthouses across the country in their effort to make our nation less energy secure by ending the domestic development of fossil fuels and weakening our economy by making energy more scarce and more costly for consumers. Thankfully, the Supreme Court saw through their ruse and affirmed that laws and regulations governing pipeline infrastructure construction and operation in this country are clear and resolute.”
