Statement: GAIN Applauds Trump Infrastructure Focus
Today President Trump unveiled his highly anticipated $1.5 trillion infrastructure plan. The GAIN Coalition issued the following statement supporting President Trump’s focus on upgrading American infrastructure, which can be attributed to me, Craig Stevens, spokesman for the coalition.
“GAIN applauds President Trump for taking steps to address our nation’s critical need for infrastructure revitalization. The American Society of Civil Engineers gave our nation’s infrastructure a D+. In order to improve our infrastructure, the federal government must invest in key projects and pursue policies that streamline infrastructure permitting processes and reduces regulatory red tape standing in the way of improving our roads, bridges, potable and waste water lines, 5G wireless deployment, and energy pipelines. It’s promising to see the Trump Administration starting off the year focusing on creating a comprehensive plan that will help American workers and the economy.”
