GAIN Statement on Keystone Ruling in Nebraska
Breaking this morning is a ruling from the Nebraska Supreme Court upholding the state’s Public Service Commission’s approval of the Keystone XL pipeline route in the state.

“We applaud the Nebraska Supreme Court for helping to restore sanity to the regulatory process in the state. U.S. citizens and businesses use more than 800 million gallons of petroleum every day, so ensuring a safe, reliable supply of energy is critical to the wellness of families and our nation’s economy. The construction and operation of pipeline projects like Keystone XL will help keep the U.S. energy secure by alleviating potential supply shortages and bottlenecks.”
